Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo Delayed Until 2016

Looks like we’ll have to wait a little while longer to try Milestone’s attempt at reviving Richard Burns Rally, as Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo has been delayed until some time in 2016.

loebDoes this come as a surprise? No. DiRT Rally was launched out of the blue this spring on Steam’s Early Access platform, and talk quickly arose that it may possibly de-throne Richard Burns Rally as the greatest rally game of all time. Meanwhile, when footage of SLRE was revealed to the general public, it was “meh” at best:

And the announcement of pre-order DLC didn’t exactly help when Pikes Peak and the Peugeot 405 were included by default in the game they were supposed to be competing against.

Whoops.

    Hahaha, good timing.

I had just noticed the e-mail from milestone.

In the notification, they twice mention “early 2016″… Thing is, early 2016 is in quotation marks each time in their own promotional material.

They decided the date and sent the e-mail, who the f are they quoting?

    Guessing it’s just a misunderstanding/translation thing. Still though…
