The Coffee Lake processors are a new family of Intel chips designed to offer improved performance and energy efficiency over the Kaby Lake generation of chips. The new processors feature a 14nm process that is more efficient than previous generations, providing better power management and energy efficiency in the chip. They also support TDPs of up to 35W, which is more than double that of earlier generations.

Intel will release Coffee Lake motherboards with Skylake-D or Kaby Lake-D processors in Q3 2018.
