FAQs

Can I use 7700K on Z370

Thanks for the question. I am sorry that Z370 motherboards are not capable of supporting i7-8700K while Z270 motherboards are not capable of supporting i7-7700K.

The reason behind this is because the processor and memory on a Z370 motherboard is limited by its processor socket, whereas a Z270 motherboard has more room to increase the RAM capacity. So, if you need higher performance than your processor can provide, you will have to upgrade your CPU or memory on a higher-end chip that is available in your country.

Is the i7-7700K compatible with Windows 11

The TPM 2.0 is a security feature that allows a computer to verify the identity of a device when that device is in use.

By default, this CPU has TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot support but you can change it if you want.

Does motherboard affect FPS

No, your motherboard will not affect your gaming performance. Your motherboard's function is purely a design feature, and does not impact your gameplay in any way.

If you have a graphics card that has trouble processing data fast enough for you to play games at high frame-rate (60fps), it could be the bottleneck in the system. If that card is an Intel Core i5-4590 or better, then it will likely be fine. If it's an Intel Core i5 or better, then expect to see some lag or stuttering during gameplay.
