The notorious social justice warrior safe space of NeoGAF may be little more than a haven for emotionally fragile white knights, but buried deep within the 126-page thread discussing Slightly Mad Studios’ upcoming title Project CARS 2 is a nugget of information that is sure to raise a few eyebrows. The sequel to the highly controversial and often-problematic crowdfunded racing simulation has not received much media attention thanks to a modified approach to the game’s development, so comments like these are basically all we’re going to get until the official pre-release marketing campaign begins.
NeoGAF forum member Rayge writes that “bombs just dropped” within the internal WMD forums for Project CARS 2, a private online community where financial contributors can discuss the development of the game with Slightly Mad Studios team members. The info is supposedly of such high importance, that the forum member immediately asks if he is under a non-disclosure agreement for choosing to be involved with the Project CARS 2 empire. He wants to share it, but he also doesn’t want to get sued.
We will have more information as it becomes available.I’d advise you to continue monitoring the thread.
