What kind of motherboard do I need for an Intel i7?

The following is a list of motherboard requirements for Core i7-10700T processors based on the processor type.

Intel Core i7-8305G Processor - LGA 1150 Socket
Intel Core i7-8305G Processors - LGA 1155 Socket
Intel Core i7-8550U Processor - LGA 1155 Socket
Intel Core i7-8550U Processors - LGA 1150 Socket.

Can Intel Core i7 be used for gaming?

The Intel Core i7 processor is a mid-range desktop processor that is designed to offer high performance and efficiency at a low price point. It features an Intel® Core™ i7 processor CPU core count of 2.0 GHz, coupled with 8GB of DDR3L memory. The processor runs on the LGA1151 socket and has a size of 1.2 inches (34 mm).

The Intel Core i7-4700K is an advanced desktop processor that features a quad-core Intel® Core™ i7 CPU running at 2.0 GHz, paired with 16GB of DDR3L SDRAM memory. It features an LGA1151 socket and is 1 inch (25 mm) in length, making it ideal for use in small spaces or for those who want to focus on their work instead of playing games or watching videos while they're at home.

Intel® Celeron™ Novice Quad Plus Processor - A dual core ARM9 SoC running at 1GHz with 4MB cache, built on the same platform as the Celeron Novec Pro series processors from Pentium®, which were previously known as Haswell processors in the industry until recently when Haswell was dropped from all products due to its lack of support for PCIe over USB 3 ports and its limited feature set compared to other mainstream processors including AMD Phenom II X4 955 APU/PCH/PCH/HEDT equipped systems where USB 3 connectivity was not required but instead required via DisplayPort 1.2 for display only or DisplayPort 1.0 for video only depending on configuration choices made by user (eGFX). Compared to Haswell there are some differences in performance between Celeron Novesce and Novice but overall performance remains roughly the same except when using displays that require higher bandwidths such as HD graphics cards which are comparable if not better than HD graphics cards available today but require lower bandwidths such as DisplayPort because they provide higher bandwidths through cables that can be connected directly into ports located near displays whereas HD graphics cards require more complicated connections located near displays where cables can be plugged into connectors located near monitors where they can then be connected either directly into ports located nearby monitors or via another method such as via USB 3 connectivity over DisplayPort which requires more processing power per unit consumed thus consuming more electricity hence requiring more power consequently resulting in less throughput thus causing less gaming capability thereby affecting gaming settings accordingly
