Longtime iRacer calling it quits over abundance of issues within iRacing

Thank you Ian for saving me the effort of typing everything out that I already typed out two years ago when I wrote for RaceDepartment.

All I can say is that you know the protest system hasn’t worked for a while when shit like this shows up.

What I find interesting about Ian’s rant, which is around eight minutes in length, is that he actively calls out iRacing for being more concerned about their public image than the quality of their game. This directly coincides with how iRacing pushed to be on Steam without properly integrating Steam functionality, as well as a previous post featuring Ian where he voiced his displeasure with the handling model of the previous generation Riley Daytona Prototype, and the fact that despite all these new users generating additional revenue for iRacing, their servers still cannot handle large events.
